Creekmore Fath, a lawyer and an avid collector, was born in Oklahoma in 1916 and matriculated at the University of Texas in 1933. He started a law practice with Bob Eckhart in 1939 in Austin, Texas. Fath assisted President Franklin Roosevelt and later ran gubernatorial primary campaigns for Frances Farenthold in 1972 and 1974.
