Creekmore Fath, a lawyer and an avid collector, was born in Oklahoma in 1916 and matriculated at the University of Texas in 1933. He started a law practice with Bob Eckhart in 1939 in Austin, Texas. Fath assisted President Franklin Roosevelt and later ran gubernatorial primary campaigns for Frances Farenthold in 1972 and 1974. Furthermore, he was involved with many other campaigns and worked under political figures such as Sam Rayburn and Lyndon B. Johnson.
