Elisha Hall (1799-1879) was born in North Carolina. He married Anne Anderson Guilliford (1802-1981) of Tennessee in 1822. It is unknown when the family moved to Austin but there are records of Elisha renting a lot in the City of Austin in 1838 and paying taxes for property in the city in the late 1850s.
