Part 3, Italian fashions are demonstrated in a villa north of Rome. Part 4, automatic camera footage shows the destruction of buildings on Eniwetok by an atomic explosion. Part 5, Gen. Ridgway lands in Paris and is greeted by Gen. Eisenhower and NATO officers. Chancellor Adenauer and French For. Min. Schuman sign a European Defense Community Treaty at the Quai d'Orsay. In East Berlin, streets are patrolled by troops, canals placed under guard, and highways barricaded to cut communication between East Germany and the West.
