Part 1, U.S. troops attend classes at an Army education center in Shrivanham, England. Part 2, football: Green Bay Packers vs. College All-Stars. Part 3, on the occupation of Japan. Gen. MacArthur deplanes from the "Bataan" at Atsugi Air Field and is greeted by Gen. Eichelberger. Japanese troops evacuate the area. 11th Airborne Div. units enplane on Okinawa for Japan. U.S. troops board trucks for Yokosuka. The Third Fleet steams into Tokyo Bay; Japanese officers board the cruiser San Diego with maps of mine fields. Adm. Nimitz and Gen. MacArthur come aboard the battleship Missouri. U.S. Marines land at Yokosuka Naval Base. The U.S. flag is raised over the battleship Nagato as Adm. Carney looks on.
