Part 3, 27th Div. personnel arrive in N.Y.C. on the transports Queen Mary and West Point. Soldiers embark on transports in San Francisco for the Pacific war. Part 4, maps the allied advances in the Pacific and shows PT-boats attacking Japanese oil wells along the Borneo coast; naval guns firing barrages before an Australian amphibious invasion in Brunei Bay, Borneo; and Gen. MacArthur going ashore. Shows Chiang Kai-shek, Gen. Wedemeyer, and Chinese Nationalist soldiers. Chinese Communist soldiers operate captured Japanese machine guns. Shows the U.S. flag raised on Okinawa, tanks firing, soldiers training, and Corsair planes taking off for attacks on Japan. Shows the Potsdam Conference headquarters, and pictures of Churchill, Stalin, and Truman.
