Part 3, the hospital ship Acadia arrives in N.Y.C. with wounded veterans. Part 4, B-24's, escorted by P-38's, bomb Kahili on Bougainville; a P-38 crashes in flames. Barges loaded with supplies come ashore in Augusta Bay. A fuel dump, hit by Japanese bombers, burns. Matting for an airstrip is brought ashore. Part 5, Gen. Marshall inspects defense installations in Honolulu and reviews troops. Part 6, Adm. Halsey discusses the Pacific War. Part 4, artillery fires and Free French troops with pack mules advance on the Italian front. Shows Gens. Eisenhower and Clark at the front. Part 5, Troops give rations to Italian children.

William Frederick Halsey Jr. (October 30, 1882 – August 16, 1959) was a fleet admiral in the United States Navy during World War II. He was called "Bill" by his family and friends and nicknamed "Bull" by the press.
