Part 1 shows track and field events in the Milkose Games. Part 2, British Columbia fishermen haul in nets full of herring. Part 3, an Army hospital patrol trains with dog sleds in New Hampshire. Part 4 shows WAVES and Spars marching, attending class, and moving into apartments. Mayor LaGuardia poses with Adm. Jacobs and WAVE and Spars cmdrs. Part 5 allied troops march into Buna, New Guinea, after tanks and artillery smash Japanese positions for troops to advance. Allied wounded are cared for in field hospitals. Gens. Blamey and Eichelberger pose. Part 6, a new U.S. battleship, on a shakedown cruise, fires its guns and catapults planes into the air.

Thomas Albert Blamey (b. Jan. 24, 1884, New South Wales-d. May 27, 1951) was an Australian general serving in World War I with the 1st Australian Division (Gallipoli, 1915) and on the Western Front.
