This series consists of biographical research files compiled by "Washington Post" White House correspondent David Hoffman. The materials in this series explore the financial history of President George H. W. Bush, trace his ancestry in some detail, and describe recollections of associates, friends, and classmates. Included are research notes, newspaper clippings, income tax returns, and a Bush family tree. This series also contains newspaper clippings (mostly from the "Hartford Courant") concerning the political career of Senator Prescott Bush, George Bush's father.
