Eugene McGinley (b. Jan. 28, 1900, Hamilton, Ohio-d. Feb. 12, 1972), U.S. Army officer, was commissioned in the Coast Artillery Corps from West Point in 1919. He served with the 13th Field Artillery in Hawaii from 1927 to 1930 and was Aide to Generals Ernest Hinds and Paul Wolf. William Morris Hoge (1894-1979) was born in Boonville, Missouri. He received his commission in the Corps of Engineers from West Point in 1916, and served with the 1st and 7th Engineers, AEF in World War I.
