McGinley, Eugene, 1900-1972
Eugene McGinley (b. Jan. 28, 1900, Hamilton, Ohio-d. Feb. 12, 1972), U.S. Army officer, was commissioned in the Coast Artillery Corps from West Point in 1919. He served with the 13th Field Artillery in Hawaii from 1927 to 1930 and was Aide to Generals Ernest Hinds and Paul Wolf. In the World War II years, he served with the supply division of the War Department General Staff, was chief of the operations division at Services of Supply, and was artillery officer for the 2nd and 8th Armies. He retired in 1955.
