This is a transcript of two oral history interviews with Milton Eisenhower. In the first interview Eisenhower discussed his career in government and the 1952 campaign and presidency of his brother, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Other topics in this interview included the U.S. President's Advisory Committee on Government Organization, international economic assistance, John Foster Dulles, and the U-2 incident in 1960. He ended this interview with a discussion of President Eisenhower's use of his Cabinet, the National Security Council and key staff members. The second interview began with a discussion of the 1952 and 1956 presidential campaigns. He also talked about Nelson Rockefeller, Richard Nixon and President Eisenhower's feeling towards major policitical figures. Additional subjects included the Republican Party, President Eisenhower's heart attack, bipartisan foreign policy, appointments to the Supreme Court, the Inter-American Bank and Latin America.
