Frederick Andrew Seaton was born on December 11, 1909 in Washington, D.C., December 11, 1909. He attended Kansas State College at Manhattan, Kansas. In 1936 he was secretary to Republican presidential candidate Alfred M. Landon. He also served as president of Seaton Publishing Company, Hastings, Nebraska, and publisher of Hastings Daily Tribune. William Bragg Ewald (b. 1925) was an instructor of English and Humanities at Harvard University from 1951 to 1954. From 1954 to 1956, he was a special assistant at the White House, then assistant to Secretary of the Interior from 1957 to 1961.
