This collection contains the papers of Henry Wise,who practiced law in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the early tomid-twentieth century. Wise focused his practice mainly on unions,housing, and the fishing industry. He was a strident supporter ofcollective bargaining for workers in the Boston and Cambridge areaand assisted Massachusetts fishermen in their efforts to establishfishing collectives.
