Windsor Utley (1920-1989) was a Seattle painter, a gallery owner, and a friend of the painter Mark Tobey. He was born in Los Angeles in 1920 and moved to Seattle during World War II. Although Utley has been celebrated as a Northwest artist, he lived at times in California, Washington, New York, Canada, and Italy.
