With the rapid growth of the Northern Seattle area, the Home Mission Department of the former Evalgelical Lutheran Church established this congregation, afnd services were held in Ridgecrest Elementary School. In the spring of 1950, a call was extended to Dr. Carl O. Pederson. The church was erected and dedicated on November 8, 1951.
