Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences records

1962-1976

The Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences records cover the years 1962 to 1976 and consist of evaluations, correspondence, memoranda, reports, and reviews made for and by the Middle States Association for accreditation of the University of Maryland at College Park on a national level. Every ten years, the performance of the University of Maryland is reviewed by the Middle States Association. As part of this review, each division, college, and department provides a self-study report on service and research, examining its strengths and weaknesses, as well as presenting statistical information about enrollment and classes and faculty vitae for review by the Middle States evaluation team. These records primarily document the 1975 accreditation review.
