Lambert Cadwalader (December 1742 – September 13, 1823) was an American merchant and leader in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He fought in the Revolutionary War, then represented New Jersey in the Continental Congress and the U.S. Congress. Born in Trenton in the Province of New Jersey, his family moved to Philadelphia when Cadwalader was a child, where he attended Dr. Allison's Academy and the College of Philadelphia (later the University of Pennsylvania). Yeates was a lawyer from Lancaster, Pa. He served as a delegate to the Pennsylvania Ratification Convention in 1787 and was a judge of the Pennyslvania Supreme Court, 1791-1817.
