Consists of records kept by Griffith as manager of Lillie Langtry, Includes Griffith's date books, 1889-1890 (as Langtry's manager), 1897-1898, and 1902-1924; diary and memoranda books, 1896-1902 and 1904-1907; letters from Thoda Cocroft, Harry Frazee, and others, 1922-1923; financial records, 1919-1924; and two partial drafts of his typescript memoir of the Boston stage in the 1860s through 1880s, titled "In My Time." Most of the records relate to the Mrs. Fiske Company, but the date books and diaries also include some personal financial records relating to Griffith's real estate holdings.

Frank Carlos Griffith began his career on the Boston stage, but was best known as a theatrical manager, most notably of Lillie Langtry's tours from 1888 to 1890, and of the Mrs. Fiske Company, a theater company founded by Minnie Maddern Fiske, circa 1897 to 1924.
