Victoria was born on November 21, 1840 in London, England, and was the first child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. She became engaged to Prince Frederick, who would eventually rule as Frederick III, the German Emperor, King of Prussia. The pair married in 1858; Victoria had eight children. She died August 5, 1901 at Schloss Friedrichshof in Krobnerg, Germany....

Queen Victoria was the only child of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn and Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld.
