Victoria was born on November 21, 1840 in London, England, and was the first child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. She became engaged to Prince Frederick, who would eventually rule as Frederick III, the German Emperor, King of Prussia. The pair married in 1858; Victoria had eight children. She died August 5, 1901 at Schloss Friedrichshof in Krobnerg, Germany.
