Summary: Collection consists primarily of publications and ephemera collected by Wagner on New Mexican topics. Series I consists of materials on Indian art and culture with an emphasis on Pueblo and Navajo peoples. Includes programs from feast days at Santo Domingo (1975) and Santa Clara (1970) Pueblos, and a program from the "Fourth Annual Artist and Craftsman Show" (1976) presented by the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos. Series II consists of materials on non-Indian art in New Mexico. Includes pamphlets and programs from the Santa Fe Opera, Museum of New Mexico, Jamison Galleries, and a memorial pamphlet for Dorothy Newkirk Stewart (1955) with essays by Margretta S. Dietrich and Gustave Baumann. Series III consists primarily of pamphlets and other materials on St John's College and Santa Fe Preparatory School. Series IV consists of pamphlets, clippings, and programs about places and events in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Series V consists of pamphlets and articles on the Catholic Church in New Mexico, including pamphlets on the San Miguel Church and Santuario de Chimayo. Series VI includes a typescript of an 1892 statement by Lieut. W.W. Witherspoon on his supervision of Geronimo in Alabama; and several photographs from the excavation of a well at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe during the 1950s.
