Perkins, Enid Eder, 1896-1973,
Self-employed calligrapher and illuminator who worked primarily in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
Perkins attended Hunter College and the Art Students League; she studied calligraphy with Arnold Bank and illumination with Irene Base. Most of her professional work consisted of testimonials and citations commissioned by J. Walter Thompson, the International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation, the Pan American Society of the U.S., and New York University.
