Nash, Abner, approximately 1740-1786
Variant namesAbner Nash (circa 1740-1786) was a Revolutionary governor of North Carolina, 1780-1781, and member of the Continental Congress. He was born in Virginia and moved to North Carolina in 1762, living at various times in Jones County and near New Bern, N.C.
