Clough, Wilson Ober, 1894-1990
Variant namesWilson O. Clough, a poet, author, and scholar, was on the faculty of the University of Wyoming from 1924-1961, and chair of the English Department from 1946-1949. Clough was instrumental in establishing the American Studies program at the University. His book "A History of the University of Wyoming, 1887-1964" commemorated the 75th anniversary of the University's founding.
