Evans, Thomas, 1693-1783

Thomas Evans was a Quaker minister and peacemaker associated with Burlington Monthly Meeting and Medford and Upper Evesham Monthly Meetings. He was born to William and Elizabeth Evans on the 22nd day of the 4th month 1693. His first marriage was to Esther Haines; the couple had three children together. In his second marriage to Rebecca Owen, he fathered five children. After serving in the ministry about sixty five years, Evans died on January 21st, 1783, aged near ninety years.
