Evans, John, 1774-1841
John Evans was a Quaker from Burlington County, New Jersey who was a member of Evesham Monthly Meeting. He was born to Enoch and Mary Evans on the 17th of the 2nd month 1774. In 1799 Evans married Rebecca Cowperthwaite; the couple had six children together. He died March 18, 1841.
