Ebenezer Roberts, the son of John Roberts and Phebe Andrews, was born on August 20th, 1776. He was a minister associated with the Township of Evesham in New Jersey and the Chester (Burlington) Monthly Meeting. He traveled as a minister throughout the mid-Atlantic region alongside Ann Edwards and Rebecca Matlack. He married Rachel Dudley in 1801 and the couple had 5 children, Allen, Amos, Martha, Phebe, and Lydia. Roberts died on April 15th, 1854.
