Author, wife of liberal Congregational minister, Henry Ward Beecher. Eunice Bullard White married Henry Ward Beecher in 1837. Her writings included an autobiographical novel, From Dawn to Daylight; or, The Simple Story of a Western Home (1859), numerous articles on domestic economy, child rearing, and cooking, some of which were collected in Motherly Talks with Young Housekeepers (1873), and Letters from Florida (1879), a brief collection of observations on the state.
