Charleston, S.C. attorney. He was the son of William Jervey (1810-1870) and the grandson of James Jervey (1784-1845). A graduate of the College of Charleston, William St. Julien Jervey was solicitor of the First judicial circuit court from 1877 to 1900, and solicitor of the Ninth judicial circuit court in 1905. He married Mary Caroline Green in 1878.
