Jervey, Theodore D. (Theodore Dehon), 1817-1892.

Charleston, S.C. businessman. Jervey was a member of the mercantile firm of William C. Bee & Company, president of the Mason Harvester Company, and president of the Miners' and Merchants' Bank of Charleston. He was also U.S. Customs Collector of the Port of Charleston from 1885 to 1889. In 1847 Jervey married Ann Hume Simons; she died in 1862, and in 1870 he married Mrs. Elizabeth Heyward Trapier, widow of General James H. Trapier. Among his children were Lewis Simons Jervey (1848-1927) and Theodore Dehon Jervey (b. 1859).
