Minister to Panama, lawyer, historian.
Born and raised in Kentucky, William Jennings Price served as the Minister to Panama from 1913 to 1921. He later served as legal counsel of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from its inception in 1933 until his retirement in 1944. At one time he was a professor of law at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and maintained an interest in Danville and early Kentucky history.
