Wheat, Carl I. (Carl Irving), 1892-1966
Variant namesWheat was an historian of California and the American West with a particular interest in early maps of the region. He was also a collector of books and manuscripts, a founder of the Roxburghe Club of San Francisco, and an active member of E Clampus Vitus, the Bohemian Club, and the Zamarano Club.
