Africa Inland Mission International
Variant namesNondenominational mission agency active in several East African countries. Founded in 1895 by Peter Cameron Scott, the mission operated in Kenya, Zaire, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Central African Republic, the Comoro Islands, the Seychelles and other countries and works closely with the African Inland Church. Home councils, which supply workers and financial support, are based in several countries, including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and South Africa.
