Frontier Forts and Trails Survey
Variant namesThe Frontier Forts and Trails Survey was a project funded after 1934 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and after 1936 by the Federal Writers Project. Its purpose was to conduct historical research and compile information for publication projects related to Pennsylvania history.
