Variant namesUtah State University Cooperative Extension Service began under the federally funded Smith-Lever Act of 1914, and was initially affiliated with the Utah State Farm Bureau. Reports were a cooperative venture with various federal and state agencies, including the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Bureau of Plant Industry Office of Farm Management, the U.S. Office of Extension Work in the North and West, U.S. Office of Cooperative Extension Work.
