Photographer of North American Indians.

From 1908-1917, Joseph Kossuth Dixon led three expeditions sponsored by Rodman Wanamaker to American Indian reservations in the west. The purpose of these expeditions was to document Indian culture through photography, and in so doing to promote the campaign to make them citizens.
