Teacher, author. Born in 1893 in Jasper, Tennessee, Andrews was the daughter of Paul Whitfield Horn, the first president of Texas Technological College. Received B.A. and M.A. from Texas Technological College where she taught English (1933-1943). Married Joseph Andrews and moved to New York City where she taught at New York University. Published "The First Thirty Years: A History of Texas Technological College, 1925-1955" in 1956. Died in 1986 in New York.
