Catholic priest.

Sheehan was born in Brockton, MA in 1912, attended Holy Cross College (1933), was ordained (1940), and earned a doctorate from Catholic University of America (1944). He taught at St. John's Seminary and held a number of parochial assignments in eastern Massachusetts. Sheehan was active in the liturgical, ecumenical, and peace & justice movements in the Church until his death in 1990.
