Leigh, William, 1550-1639
Variant namesWilliam Leigh, brother of Benjamin Watkins Leigh, was the judge of the circuit court in Halifax County, Virginia. He was an intimate friend of John Randolph of Roanoke and co-executor of his estate.
Benjamin Watkins Leigh (1781-1849) was a lawyer, Virginia legal codifier, and U.S. Senator (1834-1836).
