Sir John Doddridge or Dodderidge (1555-1628) was the Devonshire lawyer, serjeant-at-law, solicitor-general, M.P., and judge in the Court of Kings Bench who wrote and published extensively on law and history, was a member of the young Society of antiquaries, and in 1630 published a history of Wales, Cornwall, and Chester.
