Biographical Note: Wyatt William Randall was a noted chemist and faculty member at the School of Hygiene and Public Health, The Johns Hopkins University.

He was born in Annapolis, MD in 1867 and received the A.B. degree from St. John's in 1884. Randall entered The Johns Hopkins University and received the Ph. D. in chemistry (1890). He was assistant and then associate professor of chemistry at Hopkins until 1898 where he was closely associated with Ira Remsen. After teaching in preparatory schools, Randall became a chemist with the Maryland State Department of Health (1911) and was appointed professor of biochemistry in the School of Hygiene and Public Heath in 1921. Wyatt William Randall died in Baltimore, July 22, 1930.
