He was lead counsel to Mexico in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations and served as Under Secretary for International Trade in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Herzstein has served as a director of the Council of the Americas, on the executive board of the American Society of International Law, and as chairman of the International Law Institute and the International Human Rights Law Group. He is a graduate of the Harvard School of Law, and was a partner with the law firms of Arnold & Porter and Shearman & Sterling.

Guy Feliz Erb is a director and specialist in investment banking and financial services at LECG. He was previously an officer with the United States Foreign Service, an official with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, an advisor to the United Nations Development Program, a senior fellow with the Overseas Development Council, a staff member of the National Security Council, deputy director of the U.S. International Development Cooperation Agency, chairman of the Advisory Committee on Foreign Direct Investment and National Security of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a vice president with Goldman Sachs & Co. Erb is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Rodman C. Rockefeller was co-chairman of the Mexico-U.S. Business Committee. As president (1968-1972) and chief executive (1972-1980) of International Basic Economy Corporation, and chairman of it's successor IBEC Inc., from 1980-1985, Rockefeller was involved with genetic engineering and agribusiness in Mexico, and worked to build closer economic ties between the United States and Latin America. In 1996 Rockefeller was awarded Mexico's Order of the Mexican Aguila Azteca. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College and Columbia University's Graduate School of Business Administration, and was active in the Rockefeller Brother Fund and Rockefeller Financial Services. Rodman C. Rockefeller died on 14 May 2000.
