Missionary; born Otto Frederick Schoerner August 20, 1906; graduated from Moody Bible Institute; served in China with China Inland Mission, 1931-1951, including traveling through Mongolia with George Hunter to Sinkinag Province, working in local churches in Honan Province, and as business manager of Borden Memorial Hospital; returned to the United States and joined the staff of Moody Bible Institute; married fellow missionary Katharine Hasting Dodd in 1938 and had five children. Died May 17, 2008.
