Stockton Corral of Westerners International was second chapter of this organization of amateur historians of the American West in California (1959). Leland D. Case, founder of Westerners International (1944), was a founding member of local Corral. Organization's main purposes are to study and disseminate materials pertaining to West through regular meetings and publications, "The Far Westerner," a newsletter, and "Valley Trails," an occasional monograph anthology. Holt Atherton Special Collections, University of the Pacific is repository for Stockton Corral records (1960- ).
