Charles Longstreet Weltner, born 12/17/1927, has practiced law since his completion at Columbia University in 1950.

He was a member of the 88th and 89th Congresses and in 1976, became a Superior Court in the Atlanta Judicial Circuit. He held that position until 1981 when he became a member of the Georgia Supreme Court. Judge Weltner holds many awards and has enjoyed a distinguished career in law.
