Richard Lee Stevens, activist and educator, originally from Miami Springs, Florida, lived in Atlanta, Georgia, during the 1960s. He was a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and active in the peace, civil rights, and student movements in Atlanta and the South, and in 1965, was project director, Southern Student Human Relations Project, U.S. National Student Association. In 1970, Stevens was a faculty member at the New Experimental College in Thy, Denmark.
