Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust
The Trust was founded in 1954 to foster the performing arts. The Australian Opera, the Australian Ballet and the Marionette Theatre of Australia were established by the Trust. It also helped establish six regional drama companies. It acts as entrepreneur for overseas artists and companies touring Australia, and provides administrative assistance to many artistic associations and conferences. The Trust publishes a quarterly theatre magazine, The Elizabethan Trust News.
