Hunter, John, 1737-1821
Variant namesAdmiral and Governor Arthur Phillip was the first governor of New South Wales from 1786 to his resignation in 1793. He lived in retirement, 1805-1814, in Bath. John Hunter was the second governor of New South Wales.
