Jones, Samuel
Variant namesThe Carpenters' Company of the City and County of Philadelphia is the oldest builders' organization in the United States and the oldest of all trade bodies in Philadelphia. It was organized along the lines of the companies of England in 1724. The Friendship Carpenters' Company was formed in 1769 and united with the Carpenters' Company in 1786.
